Welcome to Petaluma Valley Little League Spring 2025 Player Registration!

The first day to register for the 2025 Season is November 1, 2024.

Part 1: Sports Connect Accounts

Returning Families: You may be asked to confirm your account and reset your password when you next log into the Sports Connect site. For more information, see the Sports Connect help page.

New Families: You will need to create a login account that you will use for registration. Click the REGISTER button at the top of the page, and enter your email address to get started. For more information, see the Sports Connect help page.

When creating a username and password, you should create one that ALL parents/guardians will remember. You only need one username per family for everyone to access the system. You will use this account for future registrations. If you forget your password, please use the password reset system. If you do not remember your account name, please email [email protected] and we can look it up.

⁉️QUESTIONS?

Registering your child for Little League can seem like a daunting process the first, second… or sixth time you do it. We are here to help you! If you have any questions, please feel free to email [email protected] and we will be happy to assist.

After logging into your account, you will be able to add or create profiles for your participating children, select programs to register them under, as well as volunteer for positions.

📝GOOD TO KNOW: League Age

Player ages are referenced based on their League Age, which is the player’s age as of August 31st of the playing year. The player’s League Age determines the divisions in which they are eligible to register. Many players begin the season with their actual age being a year behind their playing League Age, and some don't turn their League Age until after!

You can find your child’s League Age here.

Part 2: Registration Boundary Requirements

For children League Age 4 through 7, Little League has implemented “League Choice” and no longer requires residence proof or school enrollment forms. Players will need to verify their age via birth certificate. For more information on the League Choice, see the Little League Residency Requirements.

For children League Age 8 through 16, they must satisfy the Little League boundary requirements via residence or school, or have an acceptable LL waiver. For example, a School Form, Reg II(d) or Tournament Player Verification. This is the traditional method that may already be familiar. Players will need to verify their age via birth certificate.

Required documents can be uploaded during the registration process, after the registration process, or at one of the in-person verification dates.

Part 3: Check Petaluma Valley Boundaries

For players showing eligibility for Petaluma Valley via residence or school, you can double-check your home address and/or school address on the map. The blue shaded area is the Petaluma Valley home region. We have more information about Little League boundaries and the boundary requirement on our Boundary Map page. If you have questions or are unsure where you fall in the boundary, email [email protected].

Part 4: Document Upload

You can upload your documents into the registration system, or you can show them to a Valley official for verification at one of the In-Person dates in January.

Uploading can be done during player registration as you enter/edit your player’s profile, if the documents have already been scanned/obtained. You may also go into the player’s profile after registration and upload them as you obtain them.

Uploading is not mandatory and does not prevent you from registering your player online, but we highly recommend you take advantage of this feature.

📝GOOD TO KNOW - Uploading Documents

All documents MUST be uploaded in .pdf or a scanned image format. Please DO NOT upload photos of the forms. This ensures that the documents are readable and printable, as coaches must have a copy of the Medical Release form for that player to participate in any Little League activity.
Once you attach your documents, you MUST click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the screen or none of your documents will be saved into your profile!

Required Documents

  • Medical Release Form - Little League form with emergency contact information.
  • Proofs of Residency - Three documents, one from each category. For League Age 8-16 players who are choosing to verify eligibility through a residence within the Valley Boundaries.
  • School Enrollment Form - Signed by School Office Official. For League Age 8-16 players who are choosing to verify eligibility through a school within the Valley Boundaries.
  • Birth Certificate - Used to verify the player’s League Age to determine the divisions in which they are eligible.
If you are proving eligibility through residency and the three proofs, you do not need the School Enrollment form. Likewise, if you are proving eligibility through the School Enrollment form, you do not need the three proofs. Pick the one that is easiest for you. If you have submitted a School Enrollment form in the past, you do not need to do it again, unless your child has changed schools.

  • Tee-Ball $125 per player
  • Mandatory $50 per-player Refundable Volunteer Fee (4-hour requirement)
  • Family Maximum $575 ($475 Early Bird) plus mandatory $50 per-player Refundable Volunteer Fee
  • We have payment plans available and scholarships are available upon request.
📝GOOD TO KNOW - Early Bird Fees

The Early Bird fees are through November 30, 2024. They encourage families to register early, which helps our league better prepare for the upcoming season.

Please Note, the Early Bird discount will not show up until the registration Summary page.

📝GOOD TO KNOW - Refundable Volunteer Fee

When you sign up your ball player, you will notice there is a “Refundable Volunteer Fee” added to the final total. This is a traditional method used by many leagues to promote the participation of parents in helping with special events and other day-to-day things. One of the largest needs is covering Snack Shack shifts, and the fee specifically goes toward paying teenagers who work shifts in the Snack Shack. To have the fee refunded, parents just need to volunteer, whether it is covering Snack Shack shifts or other qualifying volunteer opportunities. This year we have a refundable volunteer fee of $50.

Not only does each volunteer help the league function smoothly, but they also help build the Valley community, meeting other parents and learning a little bit about what goes into a fun and rewarding baseball season.

As we get closer to the start of the season, we will send emails about opportunities to volunteer for Petaluma Valley.
