What is a Sandlot game? A player-led, unstructured opportunity for local Little League programs to provide a fun, relaxed, activity for baseball players, where kids make the rules, make the lineups, and make the calls. The idea is to let the kids run the show and have fun. Adults are only there to ensure safety and to assist when asked.
The Snack Shack will be open, and we encourage families to hang out and cheer on the players.
Players can feel free to wear their game jersey, practice jersey, or any other shirt, as well as regular baseball game/practice gear. Catchers should be properly equipped with an athletic supporter/protective cup.
Who can play Sandlot Games? Any kid who is age-eligible for the specified division (based on League Age) can play in the Sandlot game for that division. This can be players enrolled in the current Petaluma Valley season, as well as friends and siblings. Sandlot players are required to sign-in before playing.
